ON-SITE DESTRUCTION

We offer an on-site hard drive destruction service. Our highly effective patent-protected machinery will significantly damage the hard drive platter rendering the data unrecoverable. The machine bends, crushes and pierces the platter so that it doesn’t spin hence the data is unrecoverable by commercial techniques. This can be done at our customer’s offices as they watch.

Serial numbers can be captured and recorded as required by the customer to provide a complete audit trail. Data Killers will provide a signed and dated Certificate of Destruction. Our Certificates of Destruction are nationally recognized. Residual materials will be removed and recycled in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.

We perform large corporate and government projects along the Eastern seaboard and can make satellite office accommodations. For smaller corporate and government projects, we service the following areas: Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Albany, NY.

For smaller projects outside the mid-Atlantic region, Data Killers will ship you appropriately sized, military-type, hard cases with combination locks and serialized closure tags. Customers simply fill the cases with the media to be destroyed, then seal the cases with the locks and the serialized tag and ship the cases back to Data Killers. Customers notify Data Killers of the mode of shipment and provide the tracking number and content list. A screened and approved manager from Data Killers will sign for the cases from the shipping company to provide an auditable chain of custody and verify the contents.
